Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Drive the roadmap for a pod or multiple pods, synergize with business and product teamand be able to break things into what needs to be done and how those needs to be done
  • Allow technical discussions and decision to happen in a much more top down manner yet enabling the feedback from bottom up.
  • Run effective standups, manage the sprint planning
  • Build a strong engineering team with lesser NPAs
  • Manage the team under his Pod(s), take care of their training, development and career growth
  • Project Allocation to PODs under him
  • Resource alignment in case cross POD work is required
  • Individual: Drive engineering part, set guidelines, standards and tech culture
  • Come up with initiatives that he is driving, he should always be driving one key initiative at any given time

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Should have good understanding of Technology, should be able to articulate technical solutions and architecture
  • Highly motivated, azile, experience of creating a strong team
  • Should have experience of driving team (~5-10) in tech product
  • Experience of working in fast pace tech environment, startup
  • Should have hands on tech/coding experience in the past, experience with node, react
  • Good communication skills
