Yaw Specialist Job in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy

* Monitors solution performance in the prototyping, test and verification phase.
* Manages the commissioning phase with the customers, and analyzes potential malfunctions.
* Implements approved concepts.
* Ensures observance of specifications, under consideration of market and technology trends.
* Creates respective reports.

Graduate/Post Graduate in Mechanical engineering (~Total experience :5-8 years)

At least 3 years of relevant experience for Heavy Machinery with extensive work done

on Yaw system of the wind turbine

Prior experience in the software "Ansys" is preferred.

Experience in MATLAB software.

Experience in structural design for Yaw system components for Wind turbines and help in development for the same for

Future Turbines

Knowledge about the structural design of castings, welded structures and forged components.

In-depth Knowledge of Gears and associated systems

Good understanding of HCF/LCF and fracture mechanics

Experience In analytical calculations of bolted/welded constructions

Exposure to certification requirements for WTG components or similar

Exposure to International standards on safety and mechanical design

Drive technical solutions and reviews with internal design team and multiplesub-suppliers and solution providers

Ensure time and quality in the deliveries to our development projects

Strong interpersonal skills including: ownership, self-motivated, problem solving, analytical, team player, communication skills and ability to develop relationships
