What you'll be doing:

• Executing black box tests on all web-based and API testing.
• Identifying issues and generating issue reports.
• Reproducing customer-reported issues.
• Assisting developers with issue analysis.
• Actively participating in test case design and script maintenance.
• Verification of patches and bug fixes.
• Interfacing closely with programmers and other QA engineers.
• Knowledge in REST API Testing and automation and exposure to tools like Postman.
• Demonstrated experience in testing REST APIs using Postman or a similar tool. Strong experience with API testing (REST API)
• Good knowledge on Agile methodologies and experience working in scrum teams.

What you should have:

• 2 plus years of experience in API, mobile and web testing.
• Solid understanding of QA and the various testing procedures and approaches for different phases of the SDLC.
• Solid experience in API testing, creating a test suite in Postman and web-based testing .
• Happy to do manual testing, with an interest to learn automation.
• Good understanding of common metrics collected by QA and the ability to analyze metrics in order to determine where testing would be most effective.
• Experience in executing end-to-end tests covering multiple integration points.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with multiple web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.).
• Experience in writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies including, but not limited to, Selenium, Appium is a plus.
