JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, record and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms.
- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with other teams.
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
- Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Convey effectively all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
- Coordinate with co-developers and keep project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serve as liaison between development staff and project manager.
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
- Should be able to write test cases in Laravel using any of the well-known libraries PHPUnit / PHP Spec.
- Familiar with Jira and other Project Management tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools or DevOps will be a plus point.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL will be a plus point.
- Familiar with AWS & Linux command line will be an added advantage.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Strong Communication skills.
