Candidate Profile:

Must have 4 to 6 years of experience in manual testing.

Experience in QA tools, packages and methodologies.

Be able to perform manual testing; have experience in functional, regression and performance testing.

Have exposure on any of the Open Source Automation tools such as Selenium, FitNesse, HtmlUnit (preferable).

Should have exposure to any defect tracking / incident management tool.

Good analytical and problem solving skills essential.

Be well versed with all testing concepts and methodologies; be able to write test scripts of varying complexities.

Excellent communication skills in English.

Able to effectively work with Global Project teams and clients.

Job Responsibilities:

Understand the technology solution being developed and ensure quality of the solution through manual and automated testing methods.

Understand design documentation, seek appropriate clarification on design details; design, write and execute test cases, report defects and coordinate with clients to get these defects resolved.

Planning, estimating, implementing and driving the QA framework for the Software Testing Life Cycle.

Innovate and integrate the QA / Testing lifecycle with the SDLC.

Drive the complete quality assurance engagement in a project.

Understand the design approach to automation and follow it when carrying out automation.
