Roles and Responsibilities

  • To ensure safe, efficient and continuous operation of the PGP plants to meet customer demand for products.
  • Work towards ensuring Zero Safety Incidents at Plants. Report any Near Miss/Incident/Accident and investigate them to identify and fix the gaps.
  • Lead initiatives to improve Safety culture at the Plants, including Toolbox talks/Safety Meetings/awards etc.
  • Ensure 100% compliance to all Statutory requirements related to FI, PCB, PESO, FDA, Fire Dept etc.
  • Ensure products manufactured/supplied meet prescribed quality standards as laid down by the company.
  • To ensure customer complaints, if any, are resolved quickly and the issues are addressed to avoid recurrence.
  • Responsible for maintaining the overall Quality Management System and certification for the facility with adequate controls which includes conducting internal audits/Management Review etc.
  • Plan and coordinate with raw material suppliers/source locations to ensure timely receipt of inputs for production that meet the required input quality standards.
  • Work with support departments such as Purchase & PGOE to develop new vendors for raw material.
  • Accounting of all purchases and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Ensure upkeep of plant and equipment, timely repair and maintenance of all equipment and general housekeeping of the site.
  • Overall accountability for the day-to-day affairs of plant personnel. Ensure a healthy work environment for all employees
  • Coordinate with HR Department to fill vacant positions - Identifying candidates, selection, onboarding and training.
  • Training need identification for team, planning training programs to ensure continuous skill upgradation and development of team
  • To maintain cordial relations with all contractors, neighbouring plants, associations and the general community near the plant
  • Preparation of Annual Plan for Capital expenditure, Revenue expenses, operating parameters, manpower, etc. for unit
  • MIS - Prepare Annual, Monthly & Daily reports pertaining to Plant Operations
  • Interact with internal departments to achieve the overall annual plan/targets of Plant, such as Sales, Distribution, Supply Chain, CSC, Procurement, Finance, HR, IS and CES
  • To meet all KPIs for the plant such as Production Targets, Productivity, Loss reduction, Cost Control, Cylinder Tracking etc
  • Female Candidate only



Qualification :
Diploma in Any Specialization,B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical
Experience Required :

10 to 15 Years
