Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, execution, and validation of quantitative models (including econometric, statistical, machine learning, and financial models) to meet client needs in areas such as credit, loan and security valuation, consumer behavior, and risk advisory services.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support client requests.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality completion of project milestones and client deliverables, ensuring soundness in quantitative model theory and validation processes.
  • Establish new client relationships and maintain strong, ongoing connections with existing clients, particularly in the area of quantitative model validation.
  • Develop quantitative models that serve as benchmarks, challenger models, or for replication purposes.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A Master's or PhD in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field, with advanced quantitative modeling experience; equivalent education and experience may also be considered.
  • A relevant PhD may substitute for some or all of the required work experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a quantitative analyst or validator.
  • Knowledge of stress testing models (CCAR/DFAST) and risk modeling. A quick learner with a desire to understand ALLL and CECL accounting standards for model development and validation is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to explain complex quantitative models to business leaders, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within teams on complex quantitative projects.
  • Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, and SQL for conducting data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities in quantitative modeling and data management, in partnership with database administrators and IT professionals.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing technical documentation for model validation.
  • Contributions to thought leadership, including writing whitepapers, creating presentations, and hosting webinars.

  • You may be required to report to a different office location as a regular part of your employment.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based work with frequent use of computers, including keyboard and mouse.
  • Ability to alternate between sitting and standing as needed.
  • Standard office tasks, including hearing, speaking, reaching, and grasping.


Qualification :
Masters or PhD in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science with advanced quantitative modeling experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience
