Job Description

As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will be a key member of the Database team responsible for providing overall database implementation, configuration, development & support. In this role, you'll leverage your knowledge of Oracle database development and be instrumental in the successful completion of projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze existing packages and debug

Convert high-level requirements into a working system

Understand and analyse business requirements and provide optimized solutions

Develop, validate, and maintain large, enterprise class, applications written in Oracle PL/SQL

Help developers solve data load, data quality issues

Validate table designs/ data quality

Prepare technical and functional test cases, acceptance criteria

Create / debug stored procedure, handle transactions inside the stored procedures

Handle errors in stored procedures

Build ETL processes to move the data from various source stores (excel, CSV, xml, etc) into optimized operational databases

Write highly optimized complex queries, procedures, and functions using the best available functions in Oracle(Oracle intrinsic functions)

DB performance tuning, DB defragmentation and maintenance plan for complex Oracle databases

Performance tuning and Query optimization

Requirement

Experience of 3+ years in Oracle Database & PL/SQL development

Ability to quickly understand complex problems and devise effective solutions

Experience in analyzing complex business applications, developing logic flow charts and translating detailed design into software

Ability document requirements from end users

Good knowledge in RDBMS concept

Good knowledge in data administration, design and architecture

Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data

Good knowledge in normalization, referential integrity
