Roles and Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will -

• Develop, test and deploy highly available and scalable distributed systems and services.
• Continuously improve software, tools, processes and push the limits of technology.
• Work in an agile and highly collaborative environment with our globally distributed engineering teams, architecture, product management, quality assurance, and operations.
• Flexible to work 1.30 PM to 10.30 PM IST

Qualification :

• Bachelor s or Master s Degree in computer science.

Must Have:

• 4-6 years of extensive experience in building backend Java Services and Frameworks using Java/JEE. Should know Java-8.
• NoSQL DB experience (Cassandra /Redis /Couchbase /Aurora, MySql etc).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot Micro Services, Spring Data JPA, hibernate , REST, Java Web Services, JMS, XML, JSON, and messaging techniques.
• Experience and familiarity with highly scalable services.
• Knowledge on AWS cloud APIs like RDS,DynamoDB,S3,SQS etc.
• 2+ years Spring Dependency Injection and other core Spring features.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Hand on experience with debugging, configuration and tuning of Application server, JVM, OS and databases.
• Proficient in agile software development process, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Should know tools like Git,Jenkins.
• Strong analytical skills and a sense of ownership.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

`Nice to Have:

• Experience on Big Data (Hadoop/Spark) and Machine learning is a big plus.
• Experience in deploying, operating, and running services in AWS or other cloud environment.
• Full stack developer is big Plus.
