Roles and Responsibilities

The role is with a leading UK Based Financial Services Provider
Role entails - to plan for and ensure implementation of quality framework across all business workstreams; conceptualize and run initiatives, programs and projects around improving
operational excellence; and support transitions and bids for new processes
RequiredAt least 5-6 yearsexperience inQuality with 3-4-years in deployment ofquality
methodologies,process definitionor processimprovement
Job RolePrepare the detailed quality plan for the organisation with associated risk and opportunities;
Develop, drive implementation & monitor metrics programs that allows Management to
quantify the current state;
Establish Quality Systems & Procedures for the organisation leading to other quality
certifications such as ISO, COPC, eSCM;
Align training programs with the Quality philosophy and objectives of the firm.
Design, build and deliver training programs (YB, GB and BB)Identify re-engineering and continuous improvement opportunities;
Identify opportunities for eliminating cost, and Increasing efficiency
Obtain buy-in for implementing opportunities; Explore opportunities to align QAD, CIA, RCA frameworks across various business units.
Drive implementation of identified initiatives through a mix of projects and small
improvements;
Establish and manage projects to deliver improvement opportunities;
Create pipeline potential projects and prioritise on execution;
Create forums to share best practices and encourage the same;
Explore appropriate avenues to increase the scope of team. Constantly pursue opportunities to increase the exposure of the team in order to gain scale & size.
Build departmental objectives for team, devising KPIs for team members & track progress against both, taking corrective steps wherever necessary.
Lead organisation - wide projects & initiatives to promote Quality unit s functionalities.
Work closely with the Finance units to understand & assist on financial implications for Opsteams. Align solutions to indicate the impact of actions/decisions & help to reduce costs.
Promote an active career path within the team. Coach, mentor & groom team members to handle wider responsibilities and to grow through the ranks.
Conduct performance review for the Manager and provide feedback; and
Develop and maintain effective working relationships across business lines.
Has responsibility for a business unit, a function or a large project within a business area.Isa cost centre manager and is solely responsible for the management of at least one clientrelationship. Has responsibility for business unit performance, including profit, sales revenue,cost management and service level agreement targets. Has responsibility for evidencing thatTCF is embedded in the operation to meet clients requirements. Has line managementresponsibility for a team of functional heads / senior specialists. Has business developmentresponsibilities
