Job Summary

Business Development Manager (IT)

Compulsory Skills

  • Good technical knowledge in .net, JAVA, Analytics Stacks, latest frontend and backend JavaScript and server less stacks to come up with the pros and cons and initial solutions.
  • Ability to research and compare approaches.
  • Good understanding of software product development life cycles and processes such as Agile SCRUM.
  • Should be excellent in creating presentation detailing the approach.
  • MUST Have experience international sales (US).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
  • Good knowledge of the programming languages and frameworks such J2EE, .Net, LAMP, JavaScript, React Native etc.
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships.
  • Lead generation through primary and secondary research, writing emails and making follow-up phone calls, conducting business research for international clients and prepare customized reports and company profiles.
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
  • Create a sales pipeline.
  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs.
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company s reputation.
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
  • Negotiating with clients, solving any problems and making sure deadlines are met.
  • Managing the account s budget and invoicing the client.
  • Making pitches to win new business.
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Proven experience in sales closures. Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
  • Providing management with feedback.

  • A professional manner and presentable appearance for meeting customers/clients.
  • Selling to customer s needs.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch.

Required Experience And Qualifications :

  • BTech/BE from reputed colleges.
  • MBA in marketing or related field will be an added advantage.
  • 3-5 years of proven business development experience in an IT product/services firm.
