Job Summary

Job Description:
This position will head all financial planning and control activities at Skyroot. You will lead all finance and accounting related activities for the company. You will work on optimizing Skyroot s financial performance, including compliance, liquidity management, capital allocation, and return on investment.

Roles and Responsibilities: Will typically include (but not restricted to),

  • Financial Planning: Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to mid & long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts. Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans of organization.
  • Financial Management: Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability. Oversee cash, investments and asset management area. Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
  • Resource efficiency: Drive efforts to optimize expenses, support enterprise resource planning initiatives, support vendor negotiations, etc.
  • Control: Drive all financial audits/due diligence efforts and strengthen internal financial control systems.
  • Accounting: Drive the accounts functions, reviewing all month-end closing activities. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for internal stakeholders, investors, and company s board of directors.
  • Capital structuring: Plan and implement capital structuring for the company.
  • Taxation and Regulatory Compliance: Lead all tax filing and financial reporting activities in compliance with the law.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • CA/CFA or MBA in Finance.
  • Minimum 15 years of finance & accounts experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, proficiency in MS excel and standard accounting tools.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate law and risk management practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling fast-paced, high growth and dynamic startup environment.
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner.

Additional Preferred Capabilities:

  • Experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience managing long term commercial and PPP contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
  • Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues.
