Lead - Project Management (aerospace Systems) Job in Skyroot Aerospace

Looking for a Lead Project Management person, who can undertake the complete product life cycle of Complex Aero / rocket system.

Roles and Responsibilities: Will typically include (but not restricted to),

• Prepare Project plans
• Raw material planning in co-ordination with purchase department
• Continuous monitoring of project progress and ensure on-time completion
• Coordinate with internal engineering resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.

Requirement:

• Master / Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of overall experience in aerospace field and atleast 4 years in project management is mandatory.
• Hands on experience in handling the complex aero / rocket systems is a must.
• Machining knowledge desirable.
• Should have expertise in MS project and MS office toolsets (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Excellent skills in project presentations, interpreting engineering drawings & documents, manufacturing methods and documentation skills.
• The ability to work with multi-disciplinary projects and direct experience in rocket systems preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Should have good knowledge and must requirement in various Manufacturing Processes / Quality Concepts / Assembly / Testing / Integration and Vendor Management.

Required Qualification

• Exposure to project management of any complex metallic / composite aero system
• Experience in managing complete product cycle .
• Minimum 3 Years experience in Aerospace Project Management
• Project Management Tool using experience
• OEM experience in a project management role liaising between multiple external partners, suppliers, internal engineering and purchase teams etc.
• Composite Knowledge is added advantage.
