Job Summary
- Must have expertise in object-oriented software development and maintenance using Java and J2EE, minimum of 2 6 years experience including but not limited to: Servlet, JSP, JMS, JUnit
- Familiarity with web-based development and standards (HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX)
- 2 years experience developing and deploying solutions for IBM WAS
- Knowledge and experience with relational databases specifically SQL Server 2000 or later, Sybase IQ is a plus
- Strong TSQL skills with experience in debugging and testing complex stored procedures
- Must work well in a AGILE team environment
- Participate in full software development lifecycle using agile / iterative methodologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with UNIX shell scripting is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience using Hibernate
- Knowledge or hands-on software development experience using design patterns
- Able to understand and translate VB6 code to java
