Job Summary

Profile required

Technical Skills:

Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)

Software development lifecycle knowledge

Ability to read and interpret logs, CSV files and similar system outputs

Strong knowledge onSQL or Python or any language for data analytics

Desired / Plus:

Unix / Linux Operating System

Programming background / capacity to interpret software code

Competencies:

Required:

Written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate to a wide range of clients

Proven business analysis skills, including drafting business and functional specifications for compliance / regulatory reporting

Proven capacity to gather, interpret, synthetize and present various forms of information

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Desired:

Knowledge of the order and trade life-cycle within the Equities, Options and other products

Working knowledge of some of the various U.S. Regulatory Trade Reporting (OATS, Blue Sheets, LOPR, TRF/ACT, CAT, TRACE, etc)

Aptitudes

Team-oriented and adaptable to changing environment/demands

Strong problem-solving skills

Fast learning capacity and autonomy

Ability to multi-task effectively to meet time-sensitive deadlines and balance pressure from stakeholders

Desired / Plus:

Knowledge of trading and brokerage operations front to back

Able to provide accurate estimation of work effort for the team (Analysis, development, testing), and effective status to senior management as well as clients

Qualifications:

Experience Needed: 5 years or more with IT business analysis

Educational Requirements: BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired / Plus: Background/Education in finance
