Excellent knowledge on Dell EMC Networker, Veritas NEtbackup, IBM TSM (Spectrum protect). Candidate must possess in-depth knowledge on Backup infrastructure to
administrating / architecting backup solutions
Management of enterprise level backup solutions, handling incidents, problem, Change/ Release Management.
Manage different Backup configurations, Agent(Exchange, Sharepoint) and Snapshot based backup clients.
Supervise daily backup status and knowledge of management tools.
Experience in configuring and managing NetBackup master servers/ media servers and clients
Define Backup policy
Manage different restore operations: Complex and Cross restore
Installation and configuration of Backup servers and Clients
Understanding functionalities of key Backup components/processes
Deduplication/ Encryption /Replication/Reclamation/Migration/Snapshot/Retentions
Diagnose backup issues and follow up with root cause analysis.Strong administration and architectural knowledge on EMC Networker, Veritas Netbackup and TSM
Configure Backup clients (Guest/Snapshot),Storage Unit and Pool management
Experience / knowledge in creating intelligent policies Configuration of Volume Pools, Storage Units, Policies, Tape drives
Plan and schedule changes for new Policy activation, deactivation and server decommissioning and any other as per Client requirements
Experience in raising VERITAS Support cases, collecting & uploading logs
Managing audit.
