The Main Purpose Of This Job:

Perform various functions in ensuring effective decision is made concerning their organizations software and technology-related hardware purchases and redistribution.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

  • Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware as well as five or more years experience working as an IT asset analyst
  • Strong knowledge and five years plus experience working with a CMDB and the specific business services that it supports
  • Five years or more ITSM tool experience, as well as Snow, Flexera experience
  • Proven ability and experience in executing strategic asset management processes successfully
  • Good to have knowledge of licensing agreements involving software, including Microsoft, IBM, and Oracle
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management processes, as well as experience with Discovery tool
  • Possess Bachelor s degree in information technology, computer science, or business administration, or in other related field
  • Strong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision
  • Excellent at performing multiple tasks at the same time without erring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess IAITAM Certification

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver product demonstrations to customers and prospects, conduct demos of the solutions individually.
  • Provide technical guidance and solution design assistance to regional Sales Account Managers. This includes design and/or consultative review of existing client architectures while driving architectural convergence, encouraging architectural excellence and consistency, and collaborating on new architectures within the team, product spaces and business unit.
  • Security solution architecture design on the basis RFP/RFI/Workshops
  • Work closely with sales team and Partners by participating and supporting all sales strategies and business goals
  • Provides proactive technical and business consultative presales services
  • Assist sales division to help define opportunities and close large opportunities with the right Solutions and mapping key Value propositions to customers business.
  • Perform technical presentations, Coordinate proof of Concepts, solutions and product demonstration
  • Work closely with technical customers on POCs in customers' environment to show
  • Solution s value in reducing cost, solving problems and improving productivity
