The Business Development Executive drives the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closure. Develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new clients; protect and grow the business. Act as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internally.

A professional at this position within SPAATech has the following responsibilities

  • Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
  • Keep prospective client database updated
  • Make calls for new business leads
  • Support in writing new business proposals
  • Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
  • Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders, etc.
  • Involved in setting strategic directions to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
  • Manages large teams and/or work efforts at a client or within SPAATech.
  • Traveling domestically and internationally may be required
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years selling/closing Information Technology outsourcing deals in ERP Solutions, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence domain
  • Minimum of 8 years of Client Relationship and delivery experience
  • Minimum of 8 years selling into any or all the following industries: Manufacturing, Transportation, Hospitality, Media, Financial Services, Health Care, and Public Services.
  • Professional Qualifications:

  • Someone with experience developing, maintaining and obtaining meetings with new and existing C-Level relationships beyond CIO
  • Must possess strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have good negotiation skills
  • Must be able to create good presentations
  • Must be detail oriented and an active listener
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
