Cloud Stack Engineer
Job Description:
Design, Development and Deployment of Cloud Stacks in the IoTG group. You will be responsible for building the stack grounds-up and enable cloud native development platform for Client's IOTG products. Job responsibilities include designing various components of the stack- ex : networking, load balancing , scheduling , storage , user management , Virtualization and Containers , Security and monitoring tools. You shall be responsible for building new proof-of-concepts to explore various state of the art tools and technologies . You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle - from requirements , design , development ,integration , reviews and qualification of the Cloud Stack .
Qualifications:
Candidate shall be a bachelors / masters in Computer Science from a reputed institute with 3- 8 years of experience
A Full stack developer with 3+ years of hands-on large-scale cloud application software development or web site development.
3+ years of hands-on large-scale cloud application software development or web site development.
3 +years of coding skills on Python, Java , REST APIs, Object oriented development, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
3 + years of exposure to MVC and de-coupled web-tier architecture.
Exposure to front end technologies like React.js, Angular, spring framework.
Hands on exposure to working in Public cloud environments AWS and/or Azure
Hands on experience in virtualization and container technologies
Hands on experience in scaling container based applications using microservices, using Docker containers and/or Open Container Initiative (OCI)
Hands on experience in using Container orchestration tools - Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
Hands on experience with Container Networking, application deployment using CI/CD
Any exposure to monitoring tools such as Grafana, splunk etc is a plus
Comfortable with using Linux based development environments (Ubuntu/CentOS)
Any previous experience with OpenStack and OpenShift is a plus.
Exposure to Databases including SQL NO-SQL would be an added advantage
Hands On programmer in C/Python
The candidate shall have
Excellent problem solving and communication skills with both technical and non-technical groups.
Creative thinking : Ability to create ideas to solve problems and come up with innovative solutions.
Technical thinking : Ability to break down complex data and engineering issues and solve problems.
Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience with development methodology with iterative short release cycles.
