Job Summary
Job Description:
Client's FPGA devices are at the forefront of emerging and established applications including Cloud and Edge platforms 5G RAN ASIC proto embedded applications and offload acceleration for AIdeepmachine learning financial genomics database analytics and memory and storage expansion given their unique attributes of programmability infield partial reconfigurability and fixed function IPs combined with logic and memory fabrics PSGs PlatformSolutions Engineering team is seeking a senior experienced technologist to define and deliver leadership software stack solutions for the rapidly growing SmartNIC and IPU segments The candidate will collaborate closely with PSGs design teams product planning marketing and business divisions to shape the software needs for these segments This role will require in depth customer technical engagements related to software architecture and ensuring adoption of competitive and novel solution architectures The candidate should have demonstrated ability to influence both internally and externally to the organization and drive prioritization of architecture focus areas in line with business priorities and allocated budgets The candidate will work closely with the SW engineering team responsible for the definition design development and deployment of software solution for one of Clients future Platforms The candidate should have track record of delivering consistently exceptional results
Qualifications:
The candidate shall have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar discipline with 8 or more years of proven experience in software architecture and technology development
Hands on experience with various Platform SW components that applies to Client SoC
Linux Kernel and OS level hands on experience in driver development and middleware space
SoC BIOS knowledge
Embedded development experience and ability to optimize and customize SW stacks in constrained environments
Knowledge of platform security as it applies to various use cases
Ability to customize and optimize platform boot flows various FW components hypervisor and Linux kernel
Candidate must have prior experience working with geodispersed teams and have strong oral and written communication skills and experience presenting in technical forums and influencing decisions in senior management forums
