Job Summary
Key Accountabilities:
- Understand technical requirements and specifications for electrical systems.
- Create / Update wiring diagrams / schematics / GA diagrams as per the requirements and applicable standards.
- Selection of components, creation of wiring harness layouts considering space / mounting / safety, optimization for performance and cost.
- Creation / Review of drawings, Creation / Review of Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Defining / updating test requirements.
- Interfacing with cross-functional teams for review and approvals.
- Support during proto building, validation and performance trials.
- Technical documentation.
- Qualification: Bachelors or master s degree in electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
- Relevant Experience: 2 to 6 Years.
- Bachelors / master s degree in electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
- Strong hands-on exposure on Zuken E3. Exposure to wiring harness design using CAD tools such as Creo-Cabling / NX Cable routing and AutoCAD / Electrical will be an advantage.
- Experience on PLM system such as PTC-Windchill desirable.
- Strong know-how about design and development of electrical systems and wiring harness.
- Strong understanding of function and selection of electrical harness components (sensors, cables, connectors, relays, switches, circuit breakers, etc).
- Good understanding of standards for wiring harnesses. Understanding of control systems for machines and equipment will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of design, manufacturing/assembly and validation of electrical systems and components.
- Should be a team player, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly & effectively etc.
