Job Summary
Skill Requirements:
- Experience of carrying out computational analysis for internal and external flows (Flow velocity and pressure simulations, Heat transfer simulations, Aerodynamic simulations, Performance predictions)
- Good understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) theory and practices
- Good understanding of performance characteristics of mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, turbines, fans, engines, etc.
- Ability to carry out analytical calculations using first principles / engineering fundamentals
- Ability to understand and comprehend requirements, understand operating environment of the component and system, define analysis approach with appropriate boundary conditions and define appropriate acceptance criteria
- Ability to interpret analysis results and provide design recommendations
- Good verbal and written communication skills, Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation
- Awareness of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, casting, forging and machining
- Team player
- BE / B Tech/ ME / MTech (Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering), Specialization in Thermal and Fluid sciences is preferable
- Experience: 1 to 6 Years
- Good Mechanical Engineering fundamentals
- Good proficiency in one or more CFD tools: CFX, Fluent, Star-CCM, OpenFOAM
- Exposure to pre-processing / post-processing tools such as ICEM, HyperMesh
