Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing, reporting, and editing features and reports sent by freelancers and others.
- Participating in editorial decision-making and research, as well as developing content plans.
- Coordinating with freelancers / contributors, clients, designers, illustrators and others involved in the work flow.
- Responsible for sourcing images from image libraries and freelance photographers.
- Responsible for fact checking and plagiarism.
- Attending and covering press meets and product launches, if required.
- Interviewing industry leaders, if required by preparing questionnaires, doing background research and transcripting.
- Adhering to project deadlines, stringent quality targets and journalism ethics.
Key Skills:
- Strong language, grammar and editing skills.
- Should be proactive and eager to learn.
- Should be capable of taking ownership of a project and see it through from start to finish.
- Good client management and coordination skills.
- Ability to translate the client's vision satisfactorily on paper through coordination with the company's other departments.
- Know how of writing content for digital platform shall be an added advantage.
