Senior Engineer ( Interface Testing) Job in Spiderfocus Solutions

Job Description : Design test strategy / approach and plan for verification and validation of the RF systems and the corresponding domains of a wireless. Design Test Scenarios, Test Cases and setup Test Bed for testing various connectivity & communication circuits including but not limited to Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Z-Wave, LoRaWAN, Ultra-Wide Band and RFID as per product specifications and standards. Test execution, reporting and tracking of defects to closure in coordination with design and architecture teams. Analyze test Data, build a report, then draw conclusions and make decisions to generate datasheet. Impedance match tuning, board level bring up, debugs etc. Work closely with Hardware/Firmware Engineering on technology implementation, root cause identification of issues. Assisting and leading team of two to three on techno-functional grounds for smooth project execution. Technical Skills: Experience in testing Microcontroller/ Microprocessor based embedded systems and associated subsystems such as the power supply, I/O interfaces, displays and communication protocols Strong in fundamentals of digital communications, RF communication protocols, wireless protocols, transceivers and EMI tests Hands-on expertise in testing of wireless sub-system architectures and component technologies employed for WiFi, BT/BLE, ZigBee, Z-Wave, LoRaWAN including emerging technologies Experience in verification and validation of RF performance criteria. Clarity on RF concepts such as EIRP, G/T, TRP, TIS, noise figure, sensitivity, phase noise, EVM, spectral mask, spurious, harmonics, intermodulation, s-parameters, Smith charts, and tuning networks Proficient in using RF/microwave test equipment such as vector network analysers, spectrum analysers, anechoic chambers, shield boxes, sniffers, RF signal generator, oscilloscopes etc. Hands on experience in Linux OS & shell scripting Programming skills in C, C++ is preferred Experience in developing automated test cases using scripting and programming language (Python) is a must Experience in analysis using MATLAB/Octave will be added advantage Proficient in using network diagnosis tools including but not limited to Wireshark, iPerf etc. Strong test case creation, black box testing, documentation, and communication skills are a must. Experience on at least one Control Revision Tool such as Perforce, GIT, GERRIT Experience in integrating Test Automation suite with CI-CD pipeline Exposure to handling of RF PCB boards & FPGA boards.
