Role: Senior/Tech Lead/Principle Engineer/Architect Experience: 5+ Years
We are looking for an individual passionate about technology and coding. We are looking for a NodeJS Developer who is passionate about technology and coding and will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
- If you love handling multiple technologies, learning new paradigms, creating libraries and frameworks, working across technology stacks, not limited by a specific idea or platform, you would feel right at home
Minimum Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in OO and JavaScript development.
- 3+ years of experience developing service-based applications using Node.js.
- Expert-level skills in developing web applications using JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.
- Experience working on teams that practice TDD (Test Driven Development) or BDD (Business Driven Development).
- Understanding of micro-service architecture and RESTful API integration patterns.
- Experience using Node.js for automation and leveraging NPM for package management.
- Experience working in a DevOps/Continuous Delivery environment and associated toolsets (i.e. Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
- Experience with implementing test frameworks for unit testing and build acceptance testing.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Solid Object Oriented design experience, and creating and leveraging design patterns.
- Experience implementing SASS or equivalent high performance environments.
- Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
- Desire to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, start-up like environment.
- Experience leveraging node.js frameworks such as Express.
- Experience with distributed source control management, i.e. Git
