Work Summary:

To provide analytical and project leadership both internally and externally to Supply Chain. This position creates mathematical or empirical models, analyzes the results, and creates recommendations to improve processes, service, and cost. This position is responsible for translating pure data into information that is useful to the business in improving member experience, reducing costs, innovating, and solving complex business problems. This position is responsible for both identification of initiatives/projects and also flawless execution of them.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifies and utilizes analytical methods to understand, evaluate, monitor, and/or predict complex operational processes and makes improvement recommendations to Senior Level Leadership Leads the development and documentation of tailored analytical approaches and methodologies to create alternatives and recommendations to Supply Chain problems
• Manages large cross-functional projects through to completion, including requirements gathering, creation of Business Requirements Documentation, analytics/reporting, the establishment of project plans and schedules, project staffing and cross-functional resource planning, financial impact analysis, risk mitigation, and implementation
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously and is able to prioritize them in accordance with the challenges of a rapidly changing retail environment
• Leads Network Modeling and Optimal Network Design as leases expire and market analyses are required to minimize costs while maintaining optimal service levels
• Communicates and educates business stakeholders on analytical outcomes and provides an accurate interpretation of results
• Creates and delivers presentations to executive level audiences
• Facilitates close collaboration between our external business partners such as HA, Online, Bedding, etc., our Carrier Partners, and the various Supply Chain functions

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or similar

Experience:

• 3-4 years of Supply Chain or Logistics experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) Proficiency in computer software programs and databases MS Office (including Visio), Micro strategy (preferred), Tableau (preferred)
• Proficiency in SQL
• Deep analytical acumen and strong quantitative analytical skills
• Proven track record of using analytical tools
• Ability to mine and organize data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, translate data and complex findings into understandable documentation and effectively present findings and recommendations.
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong planning and organization skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and projects
• Ability to mediate differences of opinion and facilitate resolution when conflicts arise
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry practices and current trends
• Service-oriented mindset: Possess a strong sense of customer focus
