Solution Design_1 Job in Ss Supply Chain Solutions.

Job summary: The purpose of this job is, as a part of National Solutions Engineering Team, to create/support Warehousing Solutions with technical/engineering expertise. Job Description: 1. Analysis of existing warehouse operations in respect of technical and organizational aspects. 2. Analysis and interpretation of warehouse and transportation related data (order lines, etc.) 3. Work on customer proposals including: Solutions engineering, creating customer offers 3D Modelling of warehouse solutions Knowledge of Inventory Modelling Techniques Support of network studies Calculations for warehouse solutions Costing and pricing Presentation of solution to clients Support to implementations Explain solution and calculation to Stakeholders Check assumptions with actual situation Define technical requirements of solution & infrastructure Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidBox Software If from Manufacturing, knowledge of PPC & budgeting Accountability: 1. To Deliver the Warehousing Solutions to the RFQ & other queries of the customer. 2. To Develop the innovation/automation/AI in the field of warehousing. 3. To support the operations team with implementation plan of warehousing solution as per the reality on the ground. 4. Maintenance of the database related to warehousing capex, manpower & other related costs. Qualifications/Experience: 3-6 years experience in the Warehousing Solutions Knowledge of warehouse designing & processes, layout Warehouse Solutions background eg: with 3PL having pan India presence Degree in Engineering (Preferred in Supply Chain/Logistics) Knowledge of PowerBI tools Advance knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint Presentation) Excellent command of English.
