SS Supply Chain Solutions Pvt Ltd (3SC) is engaged in collaboration with one of the largest European shipping company as Strategic partners in supply chain and Integrated Logistics for India Market


Key Areas

Procurements and Contract will be involved in a range of activities as coordinating with vendors for rates, contracts, negotiations and coordination with internal team.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Rate Negotiations with vendors (Transporters)
  • Strategic Sourcing
  • Analyze the Request for Procurement (RFP) received from various Business Units
  • Consolidate the requests and leverage scale to negotiate with vendor for the best prices
  • Prepare rate contracts
  • Demonstrate expertise in independently drafting and analyzing RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, contracts, business document(s)/or other agreements
  • Liaison with external vendor for receiving quotations and other details such as delivery schedules & payment terms
  • Prepare Comparison sheet and negotiate on terms with Vendors
  • Ensure regular follow-up with vendor for on time deliveries
  • Handling commercial as well as contractual negotiations independently
  • Formulizing the contracts with vendors
  • Vendor relationship management, Vendor Screening/registration, Vendor Database Updation
  • Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility to internal customers
  • Tracks orders and confirms system lead times, delivery dates, and costs
  • Reviews, updates, and maintains purchase orders until they are closed
  • Ensures orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts
  • Leads finance and logistics staff in resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Contributes to consolidation, reduction, and rationalization of the local supplier base

Education Requirements


Experience

  • Graduate in commerce with minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in the transportation
  • Strong detail orientation
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office
