1. JD for Legal Counsel _Litigation

About the Role

Your role as a Legal Counsel Litigation will require you to draft, legal notices, replies to legal notices, review petitions, written statements , rejoinder . Strong in fact finding . Provide legal advice and guidance to business heads and other stakeholders on the risks.

Reporting

This role would report to Senior Legal Counsel _Litigation.

Role

• Drafting of written statements, evidences, interim applications, written submissions, case summaries in litigation matter primarily recovery and Consumer cases, land disputes
• Preparing hearing-wise synopsis and researching articles and case laws
• Vetting and preparing replies to legal notices
• Maintaining records of pending and upcoming legal matters, reviewing progress and monitoring court hearings in District Courts, Consumer Commissions, High Courts and various other forums
• Liaising with police, enforcement agencies, various government officials for resolution of cases (both at pre-litigation and post-litigation stages)
• Liaising and attending conferences at external lawyers office in relation to pending legal matters
• Conducting inter-departmental co-ordination for clearance of bills of external lawyers, other day to day affairs
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various agreements, renewals, addendums including but not limited service agreement, transportation agreement, lease agreement, etc. pertaining to litigation matters
• Provide legal assistance, advice, and guidance to the business heads and respective stakeholders of the Company to resolve commercial disputes, criminal matters, pre-litigation matters, recovery matters by or against the Company and/or its officials
• Co-ordinate, follow-up, maintain records (MIS) in dispute resolution & litigation matters, including collection/recovery matters both filed by or against the company
• Keeping a track on the progress of all the litigations filed by or against the company or its officials and preparing MIS for the same

Education:

• LLB from reputed Law College/University

Years of experience:

• 3-6 year of experience in Hard Core Litigation

• Self-motivator, flexible and able to work at pace

2. JD for Lead/Legal Counsel for Risk and Compliance.

No of Position 1 Delhi

Reporting

This role would report to Senior Legal Counsel _Compliance

Role

• Ensure all the applicable licences, registrations and approvals is procured in time and validly maintained
• Manage legal and compliance to add significant value to our business. This position will ensure that the company operates as per laws of the land, offer counsel on legal issues, deploy Compliance Management Framework across the organization and ensure efficiency & effectiveness of the Compliance Management System.
• Provide expert and strategic legal advice on various aspects of business to management.
• Set internal governance policies.
• Identify risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate risks in operation.
• Draft and review manpower and service contracts and other legal documents to minimize risk with optimize cost for the organization
• Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations and monitor compliance of the organization with all applicable laws highlighting any deviations.
• Handle inspections by various government authorities and subsequent litigation.
• Manage labour and industrial disputes and litigation.
• Frame Policies for Environment, Health and Safety.
• Frame Policies required for Privacy, Data safety and security .
• Educational : LLB from a reputed University. Exposure to in-house legal affairs team would be preferred .

Relevant Experience: 3-4 Years of experience in Legal and Compliance function or practicing in areas of law concerning: Corporate Laws, Labour laws, Environment Laws and Commercial Laws.
