Role Understanding

• Manage supply and demand planning operations.
• Manage distribution within PAN India Inventory norms for all products.
• Prepare SCM Expense Budget working with details and justification.
• Control warehousing and distribution cost within budgeted period cost expenses
• Review performance of C F agents, conduct audit and train them in business processes.
• Review performance of transporters to ensure compliance requirements.
• Management of non-saleable stocks and destruction.
• Ensure local business process owners contribute to the continuous improvement of the defined standards providing inputs and actively participating to Global initiatives.
• Develop a Supply Chain strategy, in conjunction with sales, marketing, Procurement, Finance and manufacturing functions including the operating model.
• Vendor Sourcing & onboarding of 3PL, 4PL, Logistics & service providers.
• 100% Ontime Payment reconciliation with stakeholder.
• End to end accountability of deliveries and P&L management of SCM function.
• Strong hand in reporting and data analytics.
• Optimizing the Inventories basis ABC analysis & Maintaining TAT & OTIF.
  

Accountabilities

• Accountable responsible for establishing, managing and executing regular Operation
• Planning processes within the region. This covers aligning demand supply performance, financial and planning parameters (LTF, GRP, Forecast), new business opportunity and product life cycle topic.
• Overseeing the management entire CFA/warehouse operations Pan India and Monitoring, Primary and Secondary transportation.
• Control of Budget allocated for Warehousing and Distribution.
• Overseeing of Import Clearance/ Exports/ Customs if Any
• Managing daily operations: to lead the Supply Chain team in their daily operations, ensure all processes are followed.
• Facilitates the personal development of Supply Chain employees, ensures timely succession and knowledge transfer.
• Manage supply chain cost, this would include : head counts planning, distribution cost, write offs/destruction cost. This includes : budgeting and monitoring.
• Reduction of Cost & implementation of various SOPs across the WH s.
• Continuous improvement and detailing of processes.
  Regulatory requirements
  The Supply chain manager will have a solid day in day out interaction with cross functional departmental heads .
  Knowledge of SAP,MS Office Tools
  Experience in SCM for min. 8-10 years. Overall experience of 15 + years in a MNC
  Local knowledge of supply chain regulations will be an added advantage
  Knowledge of taxation, profound communications skills, working within a matrix organization, team player.
  Master s degree (e.g. MBA, MSc)/ Business Administration/Engineering.
