Export Documentation Job in Star Vision Placement

Experience in export documentation in Garment industry.

• Proof ocean bills of lading and follows up with the ocean carrier if corrections are required.
• Contact ocean carriers to requests ocean bills of lading.
• Perform word processing and data entry assignments including document distribution letters, insurance forms, and other international shipment related documents.
• Copy and duplicate materials, prepare and transmit emails.
• Establish, maintain, process and/or update files, records, and other documents.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the regulations, guidelines, and/or company procedures and policies pertaining to exports and documentation and to be familiar with the applicable sources of support available whether in the form of reference books or individuals.
• Read, interpret, and prepare applicable and required documentation as set forth in shipper s letter of instructions, letters of credit and/or any other acceptable instructions or requirements of the clients.
• Perform other clerical services for Export Department.
• All other duties as assigned.
