Job description

The ideal candidate should have proven capability of:

• Conducting electrical fault analysis
• Undertaking load testing of locomotives
• Working for ensuring proper upkeep of the machinery in the department
• Meeting required standard of quality in the execution of the projects
• Assuring scheduled service activities are performed accurately and on schedule
• Adhering to ISO: 9001 compliances in the plant
• Responding quickly to make on-the-spot repairs of electrical systems and machinery
• Performing inspections and assessing potential issues; recommending system upgrades to enhance productivity
• Scheduling and undertaking periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment & components
• Responding promptly and effectively to any breakdown
• Ensuring all the equipment is in good working order to avert any disruption
• Troubleshooting and providing preventive maintenance services
• Delivering a safe working environment and ensuring electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented

Requirements

BE/ Btech (Elect) Or Diploma (electrical) with 4 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance in the heavy engineering or manufacturing industry
