Job description
The ideal candidate should have proven capability of:
- Conducting electrical fault analysis
- Undertaking load testing of locomotives
- Working for ensuring proper upkeep of the machinery in the department
- Meeting required standard of quality in the execution of the projects
- Assuring scheduled service activities are performed accurately and on schedule
- Adhering to ISO: 9001 compliances in the plant
- Responding quickly to make on-the-spot repairs of electrical systems and machinery
- Performing inspections and assessing potential issues; recommending system upgrades to enhance productivity
- Scheduling and undertaking periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment & components
- Responding promptly and effectively to any breakdown
- Ensuring all the equipment is in good working order to avert any disruption
- Troubleshooting and providing preventive maintenance services
- Delivering a safe working environment and ensuring electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented
Requirements
BE/ Btech (Elect) Or Diploma (electrical) with 4 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance in the heavy engineering or manufacturing industry
