Activities and Responsibilities:

Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and management platforms

Monitor network devices and respond to alerts and outages

Open support tickets with data network and voice platform vendors for problem resolution

Execute network changes following established change management procedures at the direction of the network manager

Maintain drawings of network configurations

Ensure network configurations meet company standards

Add / Remove voice system extensions and mailboxes

Experience / Skills Needed:

Minimum three years of experience in a technical networking role working with Cisco equipment

Hands on experience configuring the following platforms: Cisco switches, routers, wireless, ISE, ASA/VPN firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls

Solid understanding of the OSI model, routing, switching, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS

Basic understanding of voice platforms and ability to manage problem resolution of Avaya systems supported by a third party
