Job Summary
Position description:
Description: Execution of downstream process of therapeutics protein derived from microbial & mammalian sources. shall work on scale up strategies.
Shall work with CMO to monitor & ensure adherance to the exceution of the process planned for scale up / tech transfer activities.Primary Responsibilities:
Shall be able to execute various unit operations such as chromatography, TFF and separation technologies for varied applications with integrated knowledge on all aspects of downstream processing in th
Preparation of SOP, BMR and Protocols.
Shall carry out risk analysis, identification of key/critical process parameters and finalization of in-process monitoring/specifications and control parameters
Understand the implications of the GIVIP and regulatory requirement of biopharma industry and follow as part of the process development activities in DSP area
The candidate shall be appraised with latest technology developments and provides inputs on latest developments in downstream processing area as part of continuous improvements for process development
Shall be responsible for equipment qualification and overall upkeep of the downstream areaEducational qualifications preferred
Category: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree
Field specialization: Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering
Degree: Bachelor of Engineering - BE, Bachelor of Technology - BTech
Required work experience
Industry: Biopharma/ Pharma
Years of experience: 3 to 6
Required Knowledge:
Knowledge on protein purification & overall DSP operations
Knowledge on bioprocess equipment in DSP
Experience in process characterisation studies using DOE
GMP/ Biopharma experience
Exposure to single USE equipment/ operations
Experience in technology transfer & exposure large scale downstream process
