Job Responsibilities:

a.)Develop and ship features from end to end.

(We spend a lot of time thinking through how to build new features, but the goal is always for the implementation to be maintainable, not for it to be "pure")

b.)Building and scaling web products that directly impact our customers and partners.

c.)Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them.

d.)Implement user interfaces in React alongside Node JS.

e.)Translate several RESTful data sources to be used in a front-end application.

f.)Dig into bugs and feature requests along with writing the tests.

g.)Help other engineers on the team and across StoryXpress to work towards new growth initiatives.

Job Requirements:

-Should have 1 to 2 years of experience in the respective field.

-You should know how to build scalable web apps.

-You should know how to build front-end components.

-You should be a proficient JavaScript Developer.

-Should have a good understanding of micro-server architecture and REST API.

-Should be comfortable with HTML, CSS, and related technologies

-You should know why a framework is necessary and simultaneously, know React.

-Functional knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, MySQL.

-Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git.

-Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Webpack.

-Highly enthusiastic and enjoy learning new technologies and frameworks.

-You should be able to take ownership, work collaboratively, and figure things out.

Brownie Points For:

-Experience building/working on Chrome Extensions.

-Proficiency with Socket.io and/or Redis.
