Responsibilities:-
Performing Technical study at Laboratory scale of various refining streams in Metals & Alloys
To scale up the Lab scale projects to Manufacturing scale
Planning of Process steps and evaluation of results

To ensure deployment of appropriate methods for refining services of various Input streams
To control nonconforming refining processes
Is responsible for Refining Project completion and timely delivery of the same to the

Manufacturing within least possible time

Method modification and development and validation of new methods

Managerial duties
Is responsible for maintain confidential information.
Is responsible for approval of purchase of consumables for the department.
To arrange incoming inspection of chemical supplies and equipment.
Review records on usages, storage and inventory of all consumables
To control stores inventory.
To implement corrective and preventive actions
Is responsible for maintains suitable environmental conditions in the laboratory.
Is responsible for overall safety aspects of laboratory activities.
To arrange technical literature and testing standards
To ensure that appropriate laboratory equipment are procured and available for use.
To ensure the preventive maintenance of equipments and instruments.
