Job Description

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain our software products. The core responsibilities would include writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with microservices created by other teams within the company. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work efficiently in cross team collaboration activities.

The candidate will be in a focused role responsible for providing support, working both independently on assigned projects, and collaboratively with other team members.

Write effective, scalable code

Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance

Integrate user-facing elements into applications

Test and debug programs

Improve functionality of existing systems

Implement security and data protection solutions

Coordinate with teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

Requirements

Expertise in Django/Flask framework would be preferable

Knowledge of REST APIs

Good knowledge around RDBMS is expected, MySQL, PostreSQL etc.

Knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar event based systems would be highly desirable

You should be able to work as an Individual Contributor

You should possess good problem solving skills
