Role Description:
Selection, installation, upkeep of Servers for Bare-metal or VMWare, OpenStack,
Containers in Mumbai based Data Centers. Orchestrations, VM upkeep, monitoring solutions. Defining Storage solutions, object, block, file system, choosing the right hardware and software stack for the same.Automating frequent tasks using ansible, python or Robotic Process Automation. Managing and troubleshooting servers like Dell, HP, Super Micro. Working with the procurement team on ordering of the required servers, storage hardware and software. Ensuring that it meets the business requirements and performance goals, creating weekly reports, creating and following up KPIs and KRAs
Job Requirements:
1-Managing Internal Data Center Environment Server and Networking Devices.
2-Managing Virtualization Environment on VMware Vsphere, Openstack, Ceph, Raid, ZFS, containers, Kubernetes, Dockers, Rancher.
3-Managing and Administration of Ldap based systems like freeipa, openldap, keycloak etc.
4-Knowledge on Prometheus or Zabbix Monitoring System, implementing and using these to achieve SLAsand SLOs.
5-Good to have Knowledge of distributed storage systems like CEPH, Freenas storage, MinIO.
6-Managing and Troubleshooting H/W issues on servers like Dell and HP.
7-Automating frequent tasks using Ansible,shell, python language.
8-Managing the data center and edge infrastructure.
9-Good Leadership quality andcross-functional leadership and communication skills.
10-In depth knowledge of Linux Based syste Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora.
Technical Experience:
Experience in defining & supporting Infrastructure compute, server & storage
solutions -Implements compute, storage solutions infrastructure and/or application including the design,configuration, development, testing and deployment of compute, storage-related technologies.
Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration skills -Flexibility to provide after-work hours and weekend on-call support as and when required
Must Have Skills:
VMWare, Openstack, Docker, Kubernetes, Containers, Monitoring, RAID, Linux, Unix
