Job Summary
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
The role will be responsible for providing technical support and will:
Install and configure computer hardware and software
Monitor and maintain infrastructure and network in accordance with internal best practices
Troubleshoot and fix hardware/software problems on local and remote systems
Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Apply maintenance releases, upgrades and hot fixes as required
Demonstrate strong experience in Windows system administration; troubleshooting (system setup, account management, backup/restore, network printers, application installation and peripheral installations, etc.)
Administer legacy Linux, Windows, and ESX server operations
Secure and maintain Active Directory
Support a variety of application within the Windows server environment (business applications, databases, web services, messaging, monitoring tools, etc.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
B .Sc. Computer science/B. Tech /Telecom engineer with 6+years of experience in
deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise solutions with Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2012R2
Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
Virtualization with VMWare ESXi with Virtual Center, Hyper-V or other Linux hypervisor
Networking services for Directory, DNS, DHCP for devices and users in a WAN
Experience in designing, implementing, and managing group policy solutions, remote server management, and high-availability for Windows Server
infrastructure
Basic knowledge of network trouble-shooting using Sniffers, LAN Meters, and
other diagnostic equipment
DESIRABLE TRAITS
