Job Summary
Qualification :
- Preparing financial papers for vendors, perform account receivable duties and assist with preparing the hospitals budget.
- An accounts officer manages the financial bookkeeping of Hospital
- Apply basic accounting knowledge and techniques to all areas of work, including routine costing and variance analysis.
- Processes invoices, records payments, and track expenses of the organization.
- An accounts officer supervises other staff members who assist with the bookkeeping duties.
- Each expense must be cross-checked with the corresponding invoice, to ensure that the billing is accurate.
- Sends bills to customers; processes refunds;
- Interacts with collection agencies on past-due accounts; and, works to resolve billing disputes.
- write monthly reports to determine whether the financial information generated are accurate
- To create and monitor internal auditing procedures and to solve problem when accounting numbers are not in sync.
- Management of petty cash transactions.
- Controlling credit and ensuring debtors pay on time.
- Reconciliation of direct debits and finance accounts.
- Ensuring all payments amounts & records are accurate.
- Preparation of statutory accounts.
- Working with purchase ledgers and spreadsheets.
- Planning and budget control.
- Assisting qualified Accountants with audits.
- Preparation of financial reports.
- Analyses accounts to trace discrepancies or errors.
- Assist in preparation of annual cost report.
Qualification :
- Bachelor Or Master Degree OR other equal degree in Accounting.
- Three to five years accounting experience (in Hospital preferably)
