Job Summary
Lead your team to achieve the highest possible quality product Work with the Technical director, project leads and production to assist with planning and direction of the work of the networking team Work with our publisher s Online services team to integrate their required systems and to request additional services as required by the product. Help production prioritise and track the work of your team Encourage best code design practices within the code team Write high quality source code Coordinate your team to deliver milestones Excellent code design skills Have acted as networking lead on at least 1 shipped title Experience planning and scheduling work for a code team Expert in C/C++, minimum of 5 years' experience 4 years' experience working in the game industry required Experience in PC and/or console programming Experience in designing and/or integrating server systems, integrating with online services Experience in optimising server performance and networking Excellent communication skills Experience working on at least one large scale game project Think critically, and apply analytical skills in resolving complex issues Author technical designs and best practices Mentor less experienced programmers At least 2 years experience using Unreal Engine 4 Experience working on games as a service Experience in a senior capacity working on a first-person shooter Experience developing for Linux Experience working with databases
