About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our team as a Lead Developer. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in .NET technologies and be comfortable leading a team to deliver high-quality software solutions. The role involves working on large-scale projects, writing clean and maintainable code, and mentoring junior developers while ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Coding:
  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end solutions using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and T-SQL. Implement front-end elements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring quality coding practices and adherence to project timelines. Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
• Object-Oriented Programming:
  • Strong understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) principles. Write reusable libraries and ensure high-quality code that is clean, readable, and maintainable.
• Database Management:
  • Work with MS SQL Server to design, implement, and manage database schemas. Proficient in writing stored procedures, views, and queries. Experience with SSIS and SSRS is preferred.
• Design & Architecture:
  • Familiar with design and architectural patterns such as MVC and MVVM. Focus on building scalable and efficient applications.
• Web Services:
  • Experience with ASMX and WCF web services, as well as understanding of SOAP and REST protocols.
• Code Versioning & Collaboration:
  • Proficient in using version control tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless development and deployment.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Implement unit tests and automated testing platforms. Ensure high code quality, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Performance & Optimization:
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability. Understand the limitations of Common Language Runtime (CLR) and find workarounds when needed.

Required Skills:

• Languages & Frameworks:
  • Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Database Skills:
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, and complex queries. Knowledge of SSIS and SSRS is a plus.
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP):
  • Expertise in writing clean, maintainable code following object-oriented principles.
• Web Services & APIs:
  • Experience with ASMX and WCF web services. Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Version Control:
  • Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
• Testing:
  • Experience in implementing unit testing, automated testing, and ensuring code coverage.
• Design Patterns:
  • Familiarity with design patterns and architectural patterns to ensure scalable and high-performance systems.
• Communication Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, managers, and clients.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with .NET Framework:
  • Deep understanding of .NET Framework 3.5 or above, with hands-on experience in building web applications.
• Web Technologies:
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML5, and responsive design for building front-end components.
• Cloud & DevOps:
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, and experience with DevOps processes is an advantage.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • A B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields with a minimum aggregate of 60% in the preceding semesters.
• Experience:
  • At least 4-5 years of professional experience in .NET development, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a leadership role managing teams and projects.
