JOB DESCRIPTION:
The SAP BW/HANA Consultant will be responsible for the following Techno-functional duties:
1. SAP BW [Business Warehouse] and BW on Hana Modelling
a. Understanding of reporting requirement to identify the tables and views for modeling from various systems like ECC, Oracle, SRM.
b.SAP BW modelling with respect to SAP HANA using composite providers, Advance DSOs
c.Experience shall include review of functional specifications for queries and other objects for BW on HANA Data Models, designing /creating Info Objects, Info Sources, and Transfer structures, Standard and Custom Info Cubes, Data Store Object (DSO).
d. Good experience on creation of Solution direction/ Technical design for Finance and HCM/Logistics extractors.
e. Function Module based /Generic Data source creation, Enhancement of Data Sources for Generic & FI, HCM data sources for BW and BW on HANA.
f. Analysis, design and modeling of main SAP functional areas like Accounting (FI), Fund Management (FM), Grants (GM), and Logistics/SRM.
g. Experience on enabling Security relevant authorizations for reporting.
h. Good experience on Process chain monitoring and troubleshoot on critical issue. .
2. FRONT-END REPORTING AND DATA VISUALIZATION:
a. Expertise in developing BW Queries using BEx Query Designer, Customer exit variables, Hierarchy variables.
b. Development of advanced visualization scenarios using SAP tools and systems and integration to HANA for data sourcing.
c. Development of Front-end Reports using Web Intelligence, Analysis for office and other reporting tools.
3. TECHNICAL AND PROGRAMMING SKILLS:
a. Advanced ABAP programming, BADI, User Exits, Function Module, Start Routines, and End Routines for ECC & BW Objects enhancements.
b. Create custom Extraction /Generic using Function modules in ECC to bring data in BW on HANA.
c. Enhance Standard Data Sources (FI/HCM/Lo extractors )
OTHER PRE-REQUISITES:
Good written and verbal communication skills is essential.
Strong analytical, problem solving, client facing, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
Team Player, responsive, organized.
Should have good command over language.
Note:
