Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for day to day operational activities in the downstream platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Innovative and motivated professional with a proven track record in protein chemistry
• Should be well versed in the purification of monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins expressed using mammalian, microbial or Insect cell
• execute day to day activities of downstream process like CIP for Slurry, CIP for AKTA
• Actively involved in the statistical design, execution, analysis, and troubleshooting of purification process
• Should have knowledge on QA related to the protein work
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a team is important and the candidate should demonstrate this objective.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company

Educational Qualification:

• M.Sc/M.Tech in Biotechnology or related disciplines

Technical/functional Skills:

• Must have hands on experience on AKTA Explorer, AKTA prime and AKTA PURE instruments
• An additional knowledge on operation and analysis of HPLC / LCMS instrument and data would be appreciable

Experience:

• 6-9 years post qualification

Behavioral Skills:

• Should be well versed in verbal and written communication, should be a team player.
• Should be focused towards results and deliverables.
• Should have a high moral framework (ethics code) and high data integrity sense
