Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to implement and enforce safe work practices throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of safe systems of work across the site
• Actively participate in the activities carried out regarding the safety in the concerned area & ensuring safety monitoring in shifts.
• Emergency management at the site.
• Facilitate all accident and incident investigations are properly investigated, documented and tracked for implementation of corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Training of relevant personnel on key hazards and risk.
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and documentation
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company.

Educational Qualification:

BSc/MSc (Chemistry) / BTech/MTech (Chemical) / Diploma in Industrial safety

Technical/functional Skills

• Safe Systems of work (permit to work, risk assessment etc)
• Compliance (regulatory and internal)
• Knowledge on Environmental management
• Incident/Accident management
• Emergency management

Experience: Above 4 years of relevant experience in EHSS
