Job purpose

To applying chemical engineering principles towards the process and product development in the laboratory to make the process robust for scale up.

Key Responsibilities:

• This role is deputed in Technology transfer team and to work with chemists to provide inputs related to engineering aspects.
• Assist team lead in collating process engineering information across developmental projects.
• Assess the equipment suitability for scale-up batches recommendations to avoid any OOS.
• Provide investigation support towards process abnormalities and supporting troubleshooting of plant activities.
• Attending client calls and responding to the queries appropriately.
• Coordination with multiple cross functional teams for smooth execution of experiments/projects.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company

Educational Qualification:

• M.Sc in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry

Technical/functional Skills:

• Knowledge of applying chemical engineering principles towards the process and product development in the laboratory to make the process robust for scale up.
• Experience of monitor the scale up batch in the Manufacturing facility and provide more insight on the scale up batch challenges and troubleshooting work.
• Documentation skill - TTD, QA related documents like OOT, OOS review & closure

Experience:

• 3-6 years post qualification

Behavioral Skills:

• Should have the capability to work in a team and ability to handle demonstrate a good team spirit.
• While possessing a good ability to follow instruction should also demonstrate innovative in his/her approach, good communication skills.
• Should be proactive while working on allotted responsibility.
