Job Purpose:
First level negotiation of contracts with customers and their in-house legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and redlining of contracts, (both sales and sourcing side), Manufacturing Agreements, Licensing Agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents.
- finalization of draft contracts for signoff in coordination with Business Development, IP, Marketing, Finance and other in-house departments and other key personnel in the organization.
- First level negotiation of contracts (domestic and international) with end customers and their in-house and external legal counsels.
- Drafting agreements and other legal documents like MOUs, supply agreements, material transfer agreements, license agreements etc. and standardization of templates in accordance with current polices and business requirements.
- Post contract administrative activities like maintaining contract data base, facilitating contract signoff, periodically, remind concerned stake holders about expiry and renewal of contracts, etc.,
- Carry out legal research through online using Manupatra or other software.
- Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirementsat all timesin the workplace ensuring individual andlab/plant safety?
- Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company.
Educational Qualification:
LLB or LLM
Technical/functional Skills:
- Demonstrate ability to comprehend complex contract terms and conditions as applied in multiple regions (for example U.S.A., UK and Europe).
- First level negotiation of contracts (domestic and international) with end customers and their in-house and external legal counsels.
- Drafting agreements and other legal documents like MOUs, supply agreements, material transfer agreements, license agreements etc. and standardization of templates in accordance with current polices and business requirements.

Experience:
8 to 12 years relevant experience in contracts and negotiation preferably in Pharma/Biotech/IT industry.
Behavioral Skills:
- Demonstrate good drafting and negotiation skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- High degree of flexibility in terms of working hours
