Job purpose

To support and perform Viral Clearance Studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge on cell culture techniques like Revival, Maintenance, freezingof cell lines; and preparation of culture flasks and plates.
• Virology techniques
• Coordinating, performing and monitoring the method development of cell based and molecular assays.
• Documentation/Compilation of data for routine work.
• Inventory management at the facility
• Equipment qualification and maintenance
• Operation and Maintenance of equipments like pH meter, conductivity meter, Bio-safety cabinet, Microscope etc.
• Hands on experience in molecular techniques like SDS page, Agarose gel electrophoresis and PCR
• Knowledge of GLP and GMP practices
• Hands on experience in Purification techniques by chromatography and Ultra centrifugation.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company

Educational Qualification:

• Masters degree in Virology

• Should have experience in Mammalian cell culture techniques; Virology techniques and Molecular virology techniques

Experience:

• 3-6 years post qualification

Behavioral Skills:

• Should have the capability to work in a team and ability to handle demonstrate a good team spirit.
• While possessing a good ability to follow instruction should also demonstrate innovative in his/her approach, good communication skills.
• Should be proactive while working on allotted responsibility.
