Job purpose

To support cell culture, virology and Molecular biology activities at Viral testing facility

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge on cell culture techniques like Revival, Maintenance, freezing of cell lines; and preparation of culture flasks and plates.

Molecular and Cell based Method development and qualification.

Documentation/Compilation of data for routine work as per the regulatory norms .

Inventory management at the facility

Qualification, Operation and Maintenance of equipment's like Bio-safety cabinet, Microscope,qPCR etc.

Hands on experience in molecular techniques like SDS PAGE, Agarose gel electrophoresis and qPCR

Knowledge on GMP/ GLP and 21CFR.

Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety

Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company

Educational Qualification:

Masters degree in Chemistry

Technical/functional Skills:

Knowledge on cell culture techniques like Revival, Maintenance, freezing of cell lines; and preparation of culture flasks and plates.

Experience:

3-6 years post qualification

Behavioral Skills:

Should have the capability to work in a team and ability to handle demonstrate a good team spirit.

While possessing a good ability to follow instruction should also demonstrate innovative in his/her approach, good communication skills.

Should be proactive while working on allotted responsibility.
