Job Summary

DDI Team Lead

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DDI Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) environment while enhancing the current solution. This role will manage a small team of DDI analysts who provide 1st/2nd level support and act as an escalation point for issues with the DDI environment. The role also involves identifying potential vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, and responding to DDI incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and define strategy/roadmaps for DDI solutions.
  • Identify gaps in the current DDI environment and provide resolutions.
  • Lead a team of DNS analysts, providing escalation support for troubleshooting issues.
  • Investigate and design automation solutions to enhance productivity and streamline DDI processes.
  • Create and maintain DDI policies.
  • Work with the design and planning team to define, refine, and suggest alternative designs or permanent remediation solutions for issues.
  • Ensure smooth handover of solutions to engineering/operations teams with appropriate documentation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within the DDI environment.
  • Continuously evaluate service capacity and performance, recommending technical and service changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with vendors and support detailed technical designs and troubleshooting as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years of experience with DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
  • 7-12 years of network experience (TCP/IP, protocols, ports).
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory.
  • Proven experience leading a small team.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution, providing timely updates to stakeholders during incidents.
  • Maintain accuracy in network monitoring tools and ensure proper monitoring of devices.
  • Proactive in identifying and acting on opportunities to improve processes and services.
  • Strong collaboration with L2/L3 Operations, Engineering teams, and 3rd-party vendors.
  • Experience with maintaining inventory and updating internal knowledge bases.
  • Ability to document processes, prepare use cases, and ensure all issues are logged and updated accurately.
  • Familiarity with BlueCat DDI solutions is an advantage, especially with BlueCat automation gateways.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
